Gender Unit- A Jury of Her Peers

In A Jury of Her Peers by Susan Glaspell, we find out that the peers of Mrs. Wright are Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters. Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters understand Mrs Wright. They stand up for her and they make sure that the two of them stick together whenever the men talk bad about Mrs. Wright. "The two women had drawn nearer..." They were sort of a little gang standing up for a member. They were making sure that the men were not going to do Mrs. Wright any wrong. Even so, the men made a comment about how women worry too much about insignificant things. Of course, after seeing the two woman close together they tried to make it better by saying that men would be nothing without these woman. It was incredible how fast they changed their mind just by seeing these two together. The effect of them together and one of them being the sheriff's wife helped Mrs. Wright have more of a voice through the two woman. It was as if they were defending her. It was a Jury. A jury of her peer Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters.
