Othello- Blog 7

In Othello by Shakespeare, Lodovico has come to tell Othello that he has to leave for Venice. Lodovico sees the way that Othello has become and is concerned. "Is this the noble Moor whom our full senate call all-in-all sufficient?" (IV.i.249-253) Lodovico is told that Othello has changed from what he has been through. Iago mentions to Lodovico that he should observe Othello. I believe that this is Iago's plan to completely destroy Othello. He is ready to demolish Othello and he has already done so with his close friend, Cassio. He has also destroyed his marriage and Othello has only his position in war that he holds. It seems that Iago is driving him insane enough to cause Othello to do horrible in his duty. Lodovico will be sure to see this and it will cause Othello's only thriving possession, his job.
